Membership
An individual who devotes a substantial portion of time to the paid professional practice of public relations or to the teaching or administering of public relations courses in an accredited college or university is eligible for membership. Membership in GKC PRSA offers:
- the opportunity to network
with others in the public relations and communications
profession;
- professional development opportunitiees
through the monthly
lunch programs;
- reduced costs on GKC PRSA
programs, seminars, PRISM
Awards entries and reservations, and more;
- a subscription to PRSA’s national
monthly publication, Public Relations Tactics; information about industry
trends and topics;
- exposure to excellence in
public relations at the annual PRISM Awards Gala;
and much, much more.
Dues
GKC PRSA’s local chapter annual dues are $60.To join the
local chapter, applicants must be a member of the national
organization. Follow this link for

Membership Application Form
To join PRSA, complete the on-line
membership application form. When completing local chapter membership information, remember, dues for the Greater Kansas City chapter are $60. You will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your on-line application and can expect to receive a written response from PRSA headquarters within 4 weeks.
